Being nice and friendly with forum-mates and providing help and advise has nothing to do with giving away was has been payed with our "hard-earned",and that is not to mention the amount of effort and objectiveness he puts in his reviews....

That's not eating into his revenue stream. (Sean asks his subscribers not to pass on stuff from his site which is fair enough. Further, he doesn't really do "ranking" but, rather, explains and expands on lens charistics. He explains his preferences but is at pains to point out that others' needs and tastes will be different. So his reviews really need to be read, not summarised.)

his lens tests so far have been with the rd-1 so they might be different for film.
the canon 28 he likes because of it's lower contrast than many modern lenses but the outcome might be different when considering modern films.
