has there been a change in the search function? you have to enter three words to get the server to search for anything. this is quite annoying.

do your job, then let go
Don't let it bother you just use google with the site option.
Example: search function :site:rangefinderforum.com
will let you search for the words 'search' and 'function' within RFF only

Yes I find I can go to google outside the forum, and it will locate threads in the forum easier than searching from within the forum.

i was wondering when someone would ask that very question...
i am one of those lurkers that posts infrequently and usually only to complain. i'm also a little neurotic, so when something changes like the search function, i have to say something. i actually come to the site several times a day, i just don't have much to say.
so don't take it personally, i love the site. i haven't seen another nearly as informative and interesting.

my outlook is bright, i am quite the optimist!
i don't post often because my interests are pretty well outside what is discussed around here; stereo photography, how to take pictures like william eggleston and my profession, picture framing. other than that, i enjoy my leicas, but what about leica hasn't been discussed? i don't have much to add that hasn't been more eloquently said before.
i love the site, please keep it going and i'll try to post something positive.
