Hi,
I stumbled upon your search on a hunt for information on a camera I have.
A number of years ago I was given a Nicca camera because I love to take pictures and am a pretty big fan of older technology. The problem is I can't seem to find much in the way on information on it. It's a Nicca camera, and while there is lots of information on Nicca cameras with model number designations, there isn't much about a Nicca camera without a model Number.
The camera is still in an old Nicca Leather case that screws into the bottom of the camera.
I am just curious if someone could maybe depart some wisdom about this particular camera (I've included pictures linked below).
Thanks for any help or ideas about where to look.
A few pictures are located at..

It is a Nicca 3, with "rigid" Nikkor 5cm f2 lens. Made around 1950 or so.
It is a copy of a Leica III.

Nice!. If it does not have a flash sync contact, it is probably a IIIa.
Can you load it? Any pinholes in the shutter curtains?
The old Nicca IIIs are just as hard to load as the old Leica IIIs. However,
the Leica ever-ready cases are better.

I like Nicca cameras.
This Nicca Type-5 kit is a favorite
Fast film loading on this not so common model with the hinged back.

A lot of the Nikon lenses seem to get separated and sold off, nice you have the whole package, worth a CLA as needed.
A mint Tower body with nice case (I believe same camera in this case) is on ebay now, needing a new shutter-- if you want an idea of dollar value.
Sweet little cameras, enjoy.
Regards, John
