Hi all!
I want to buy used m8.2 and had watched one camera. But seller has no documents for it. My camera serial is 356**76. It would be great if previous owner is reading that thread! If you read this, give me a sign!

Hi,
I don't want to worry you but have you ever thought that cameras alone, or perhaps with a strap have been snatched from someone's shoulder?

It always crosses my mind.
But, these days I seldom keep receipts, since I no longer depreciate equipment. I rely on the fact that companies like Leica and Apple know they sold me a camera. They know when the warranty runs out.

Lol, I doubt youll find the previous owner here.
Just skip eBay and buy from a reputable dealer/store, keep the reciept this time, and don't worry.

I think most cameras the age of the M8/8.2 are no longer going to be documented. Things like receipts and warranty cards tend to get lost. Even reputable dealers aren't necessarily going to have that stuff.
