Hey guys, I am retiring on April 1st - no fooling! Anyone up to meeting some weekend in April at the Big Time or elsewhere?

The 6th works great for me. I have a class starting the Saturday, April 13th running through May 11th.

For U-Dub blossom watchers, here is an update from the 2013 cherry blossom watch (20 Mar):

"The cold weather this week will delay the blooming of cherry trees in the UW Quad this year, according to Sara Shores, University of Washington campus arborist. She estimates the trees will be in full bloom by the weekend of April 6. Although if it warms up substantially after the cold spell ends, they could reach full bloom a week earlier, she said."

Timing for the Big Time meet appears to be guided from above.
 
Thanks for the update Larry! I'd say planning our meeting along with the cycle of the cherry blossom is a good thing. :)
 
Just a reminder for anyone attending by car. The UW campus opens at noon for free parking (including the Red Square garage)! I usually park there or up at the Burke Museum lot (NE corner). See you at 1300.
 
I had way too much fun. :D You all are getting into the habit of melting my heart with all that M5 and Contax G talk. Now I'm on the hunt for a Rolleiflex. :rolleyes:

I'll have to take a dip into D76 tonight and see how my pics turned out.

You all are a great group of folks to hang out with!
