Hi, everyone. Feels like we are due for another meet. We have a new person in town that is likely to join in.
I suggest the 2nd or 9th of December. I will not be available myself after the 9th since I will be in Turkey and Greece!
We have been at the Elysian these last 3 times, and I have to say that I have not been impressed with the food or service there. My best suggestion for venue is: A german resturant near where I work. It has a tough german name, but probably some of the best food (german or not) I've had anywhere - and it's not pricey either - and GOOD beer. It is down the street from the REI flagship store, heading towards Lake Union, just past the Russian Orthodox church on the right.
We generally bring prints for a swap, and that seems to be a nice activity to get people to talk and share work. Anyone have any other ideas?
Let us know if you plan on attending and which day you prefer, so we can plan and make it happen.
Thanks!

I want to come. Haven't got a lot new to show for myself, though, I've been a busy guy.
I can do it the 9th but not the 2nd...
Thanks Geaorge!

I would go for the 9th, the 2nd happens to be the afternoon/evening of the Seattle Winter Beerfest (at Hale's). I have finally resurrected my darkroom and can now trade in silver. Any place with good beer get's my vote (sorry, the Elysian is still my favorite brewpub!).

Then the 9th it is. That is a more reasonable date anyway.
3pm?
http://www.feierabendseattle.com/ (this is the German bar) - awesome place
bring prints if you can, no sweat if you can't. We always have more than enough to go around.
For the RF645 people, I might have an offer...something for sale...I have an emergency need for money for a trip to Turkey, and something might have to go. Might.

Solid maybe from me.
Things start to get pretty insane at the end of the quarter.
If I do show up, I promise to bring some interesting materials.

A strong maybe here too...
I should have some prints too.
Hope to see ya'll there this go around...and I have to agree that the bar is much better than Elysian, just on beer alone.
Cheers.

I intend to bump this often, and keep it on the first page in order to obtain the highest possible view count.
We'd love to see the entire Seattle area group, this December 9th.
(edited to not pressure people unfairly...!)

The Feierabend German bar is spectacularly tasty. Parking is on the street, but you'll have the option of paying to park in the REI structure for $5 or so for 3 hours. It is easier to find parking here than at the Elysian. Much easier.

George,
I just found out that the 9th is booked. I have a wedding to attend in the afternoon that was postponed from the 2nd. I'll miss seeing all again - had a great time at the last meet. Maybe next time .

maybe so. My mind is rotting. Lately, everything tastes and smells like oranges. Sounds nice, but a couple days of ambient citrus gets to be a little much.
go here and get directions: http://www.feierabendseattle.com/
