I've just been to the "Genesis" exhibition in London and the photography / locations are utterly stunning. However, I was a bit disappointed with the post processing as this looks (to me) a bit like slightly over-cooked HDR in a number of his photos.
Apparently, he started off the project on film and then switched to DSLR. According to DXO's website, he's using their "film pack" to give the results a film "look" but I must admit that I wasn't completely sold on the presentation as the end result seems to be a bit too "punchy" and dramatised and lacks the subtlety of a lot of his earlier output.
It's still a great set of photographs and a wonderful exhibition for anyone who wants to go and see it, though....
