Second gen M8 and still the banding?

I feel confident that SD cards play a role in the freeze ups. I use Sandisc (spelling?) 1 and 2 gig and my camera works flawlessly.

I had some banding on my second gen m8 as well. I spoke with a leica rep and they said that it was because the camera was not fully powered on. They also said that they have resolved this with a firmware update that will not allow you to take an image till the camera is ready. Sound fishy but i have been waiting an extra sec and i have not had the problem again.
