I have owned a few Leicas over the years but I like the "feel" of the early models..had an M2 and M3 but sold both to go back to a IIIF. Currently I have a IIIF (yes the one I bought in 1960-something, a IIIC and a III which has been converted to a IIIA at the factory. This latter camera is lighter than the others and with an Elmar or Summar lens attached slips into the pocket. A sheer delight to use, but I cannot understand why the prices are so eratic.I paid just over $100 for a IIIC recntly and I see them advertised for two to three hundred dollars! I things go silly, get a Zorki 1-I have two of these which are wonderful to use maybe a bit rough around the edges but they certainly take great pictures. Good Luck JB Leica and Zorki user
