Well-known
Hi all.
I have a Sekonic L-428 light meter in great condition but with Lumisphere missing. I was looking on ebay, b&h, keh etc. to find one but with no luck. May be some of you know if I can use a lumisphere on it from a different sekonic lightmeter model? Or may be somebody have a broken meter and is willing to sell the bubble to me?
Regards,
Boris

What is the diameter?
The L-418 and 448 share attachments, if I go by the fact that the accessory finder that came with my L-448 is inscribed "L-418 VIEW". Reportedly the L-458 Lumisphere/disc could be used as replacements, so there may have been more Sekonic meters sharing that pattern - the L-428, being within the same series, would be quite a likely suspect.
The L-418/448 accessory receptacle is 5mm wider than that on the L-398 series - that is, 34mm in diameter, but apart from that it uses the same locking system, consisting of two opposing cut-outs of 5mm (circumferential) width and about 2mm (radial) depth.
