sekonic l308 crapped out

Hi all,


I have one of these pocket wonders and all went splendidly until one day it stopped working, it turns on(after a longer then usual press), goes between the modes but when i press the "measure" button it dies. Tried with a couple of batteries, so I think it isnt the case.

Any ideas?

The last time a meter "crapped out" on me I was advised to carefully clean the battery contacts (no abrasives) and it worked like a charm.
