Selenium cell replacement

Already had one for replacing the selenium cell in a Zenit: http://www.xs4all.nl/~tomtiger/zenrep/meter.html

If you have a bad selenium cell, one of these may be the answer.

All you have to be able to do is solder and use a multimeter.

You're welcome. I was mainly interested in this article because there are so many formerly nice, but now non-functional, Voigtlander cameras out there going for peanuts because they are powered by selenium cells.

Yeah, but have you looked at their prices? Gouging the utter hell out of their customers doesn't even begin to express what they are doing. It wasn't that long ago (about 10 years) that you could buy a selenium cell big enough that you could trim it to fit a camera with a ring-shaped cell around the lens for $2. Edmund Scientific used to sell bags of them for $10 (worked out to about 50 cents each). The cheapest one I can find on the Megatron price list is about $50.
