My zorki had a terrible shutter capping problem, so I put it away for a week and today I fired it at all speeds and it works perfectly. Still doesn't work in really cold weather though.
For me, after fixing a couple of my FSU cams and putting them away for a year, they are giving problems with shutter release at 1/500th now that I have tried them again....
my Z4 was giving trouble with the shutter, so I dissambled the camera and put it together again and behold it was working again! I wish it were the same with my Mecaflex but that's another type of camera!
I think alot of shutter capping problems are due to old and dried lubricants. It may be that warming the camera by putting it in airing cupboard and then working the shutter as marco did will get thinks working again. But for reliability full CLA would be worth it as described in the stickies above.
If the slow speed mechanism is giving troubles, just put some lighter fluid on it, operate the gears till it's dry and it should be runninf fine again!
