Selling an FM3a, right price?

I don't think the FM3A is fetching quite what it was a year ago ... and because it has a slight collectabillity factor that serial number on the back makes a difference IMO.

I sold my very clean black one recently here for around $350.00 AUD (I think) ... and although it sold fairly quickly I wasn't exactly deluged with enquirys.

Chrome bodies in good condition seem to be going for US $450-750 on the bay (some of these include a lens). At the current exchange rate, you are asking about US $580 for your camera. The etching on the back is a big problem when there are bodies available for similar or cheaper prices without the etching. I'm guessing that you might need to drop your price by about 1/2 to get a bite (at least in the US, where the weak dollar is working against you).

I would put it on ebay as there is a larger market there. Remember this is a rangefinder forum. But having said that for those who do not know this is one of the finest cameras ever made, IMHO.
