@1,250GBP, UK preferred, in person inspection available.

any quesitons please let me know, either here or haotong@mac.com

a bit more, I still prefer using Xpan II for wide angles, and I am strapped in cash for the Xpan 30mm, that's why I am selling it off. :bang:
Any one favor in trading in your Xpan 30mm??? 🙂

The lens is one week, and I have only used it for shooting 6 pictures, because I dont have a 21mm viewfinder, it makes me so uncomfortble to focus and composition.

thanks for looking

I was in HK two weeks ago, cos leicas were much cheaper than in UK, and i dont often have the chance of going to HK, therefore i throw all the money in, until i realize the 21mm was wrong decision...

Was it? I'd give it a chance if I were you. A 21 mm CV viewfinder is not that expensive, especially if you find a used one somewhere, or the Ricoh GV-1 viewfinder 28-21 which costs about 175 $ new,and focussing is not very important on a 21. It is a nice length and a VERY nice lens, but it takes some getting used to.

thanks for d idea, i tried before, but i am a beginner, and i really feel to use the built in viewfinder and an external finder to focus and composite is not comfortble.

the most important thing, i prefer using my Xpan to do the wideangle jobs, and the most important of the most important, i am short in money of getting the 30mm Xpan...

best regards

You realize that you need to use an accessory viewfinder with the Xpan too, right? Unless you are using an SLR, pretty much every superwide lens requires an external viewfinder...it is just how they work. And if you are considering the Xpan 30mm, be sure that you have a tripod, because if you use the center filter (which is pretty much required), your working apertures are going to be very small (f/11 and smaller). And while the Xpan will give you more negative space and a wider horizontal perspective, it still gives a narrower vertical perspective, if that is important. The 21mm Elmarit ASPH can be used wide open at f/2.8 with no center filter and not that much vignetting. If you are going to be shooting handheld at all, it is probably a better lens.

I would never get rid of my 21. Especially with the digital M coming out soon.

ha, thanks for the tip, now i think i will have to re-consider the deal,, 😱

again, thanks for the reminder, cos I just realized that I placed the order of the M-digital two months ago.... 😀

after all, thanks a lot indeed everyone for the comments, tips, reminders whatever,,,

I decide to keep the 21mm for the M-digital. 😛

haotong, a truly excellent VF for your 21 is a Russian 20mm. An incredible optic with no barrel distortion and a scaled parallax correction mechanism. Smaller than the Zeiss and around $80 on eBay.
