Selling Photos Professionally

Hi, I have an amateur question. I was recently contacted to meet with a local musical band to discuss their using my photos on their promotional posters or CD covers, etc. The thing is, I have no clue what to charge. This is a small-time local band and I am sure that they don’t have a large budget. Of course, I am flattered that they would like to use my photos and I am grateful for the public exposure, which could well lead to more sales. Can someone put me in the right ballpark with this? What would you charge? 😕

Do you KNOW them personally?

If it's really a small one, I would just ask for free copies of all their records (in case I like them) and free tickets for any concert they might have in the future. Think about it...they could become the next rolling stones, LOL.
