yashica mat 124g, tmax 100iso

the b&w version has much more shadow detail in the area behind the clock of the building, but i kinda like the sepia - thoughts?

thanks for all the positive comments.

coming from someone who shoots a dslr nearly all the time, i bought my konica c35 rangefinder and then 2 weeks ago this yashica mat 124g as a way to slow down a bit. 35mm slr's bore me, and sometimes the holga just isnt as much fun as it used to be - and i misplaced my lomo 35mm's.

the thing i really enjoyed about shooting w/ this was how much it slowed me down. you really have to take your time composing a shot, something i have since left behind now that im primarily a dslr shooter. that - and its such a conversation piece that a few random strangers just stopped and started asking questions about it

Mike, I like this one better than the other shot posted elsewhere of the same lady+clock from a different camera position. The back-lighting is part of it, for a sense of depth. I like the bus too... 🙂

Not to sound repetitive, but it's really nice! Some pictures are meant to be seen bigger. I think this would work in any size. I really like the sepia tone, I think it's just the "right" tone. Not pink, not magenta, but sepia. Great info, btw. 😀
