California (Bay Area, Northern) September 18 Chinatown Beer & Gear --

I would like to extend my heartfelt "thank you" to Mike for coming all the way across the country to join us for our shoot today! Although he got very tired and fell asleep in the warm afternoon sun, we still got the chance to pose with him for our official team picture.

Mike, you are our hero, thank you.

Click here for the emotional and poignant tribute picture.

ps- Not too shabby for a cropped snap from a lens made in '33!

Ahahaha! It came out great! (aside from my helmet hair!)

Group pic turned out great. Rolleigirl nailed it. I sure hope that Mike was able to sleep off that bender.

I actually like this shot, a quick grab with Steve providing a nice frame for me. The little guy somehow snoozed as his parents made their way through that crazy crowd.

Rolleigirl, you did a great job -- first time handling a Leica and you come up with social documentary! Mike will want you to autograph a print when he comes to. That complimentary wine you charmed out of Michelangelo's proprietor turned out to be Mike's favorite vintage of Night Train.

Just woke up. The least y'all could have done was leave me a jacket or something.

And who finished off my Colt 45! Couldn't have been Bingley, since us Bears need to stick together. Being a 'merican, with my natural suspicion of foreigners, it could have bem dem Sug and Donald fellers, but I don't know if they got a taste for the malt liquor. That was my breakfast!
;)

Wish I could have seen everyone, even Ray.

Sorry, Mike. Didn't want to disturb you. We figured you were in despair after the Nevada game... Don't know about the Colt 45, but Robert seemed very mellow after the shoot...:)

Hey Mike, when did you grow your hair out '80s style? Are you playing in an '80s cover band in the evenings??
