serial # for wartime IIIC

Would someone know in what year a IIIC with serial starting with 3931 would have been produced?

1943-1946 is the year range that's quoted in the list in the back of Rogliatti's book for that serial number. The serial number range for that time is 390001-397650.

My #393559 is indeed from 1945. That's the right range.

From all my US Army Leica research.......that range I think was produced/issued to the US Army in Oct (mid or late) 1945.
