Ok, got the Koni-Omega. I'm happy. Now I'd like to be able to easily add filters.
The 90mm lens uses a Series VI filter and the 58mm uses a Series VII.

I'm a bit confused as to what I need. Something must screw in to the front of the lens, there are threads there. But, the Series filters I see are slip on.

Is there any way I can get adapters on these lenses that will allow me to use some standard size and style of filter?

Thanks

There are Series filter holders that screw onto the lens. I had a 40.5mm screw on for my FSU lenses. There are also Series step up rings so you can step up from Series 6 to 7. The Series threads are sometimes interchangable with standard screw on filters, I use 67mm filters screwed into a Series 8 holder. Check Ebay or, if you're lucky like me, find an old fashion camera store that will let you rummage in the drawers behind the counters (it helps having worked in the camera store).

The inside thread of the 90 can be removed (Greg Weber did it for me), and that will leave you with a 55mm thread. I think this is a pretty common modification for that lens.

That would be perfect. I wonder what it takes to remove it? I'd hate to have to send the lens off for that.

The 90 is a Series VI. If you remove the adapter ring, you can use 49mm filters. More info here:

Maybe you're thinking of the 58mm lens?
