I don't know who holds the copyright to this image but it would be nice to at least acknowledge the photographer: OLIVIER MORIN/AFP/Getty Images.
 
It isn't in the public domain; it is owned by either the photographer or his employer. Every newspaper, news website, magazine, etc. that used it paid to do so. Public domain means it is free, no one owns the copyright, and that is not the case here.

Kind of interesting how easy it is for this kind of thing to get going. "Public domain" is very misunderstood.
 
Somebody should tell google, if this is a copyright violation they have to close their image search!!!!
 
Andy, I was about to congratulate you on a truly stunning image.

I think you should put a sentence above the picture, immediately indicating the source. That is a great photo to share.
