Service for a Rollei 3.5F

I'm sure this question has been asked many times, but shutter speeds on my 3.5F in slow range, 1/4, 1/2, and one second are slow in closing. Since the retired German Rollei tech has moved from So. Cal. back to Germany, a number of years ago, who's left in the USA?

I think most of my Rolleiflexes are like that! Do you need those speeds -- do the other shutter speeds seem OK?

I don't know who "the retired German Rollei tech" you're referring to is, but last I knew, Harry Fleenor (in SoCal) was still in business. Mark Hanson works on Rolleis, but not the 3.5F type 1 (according to his website).

I had mine CLAed by Paul Ebel and would recommend him. Great guy, communicates well, and is considered a Rollei expert.

+ For Paul Ebel in Wisconsin. Great guy to work with. I sent him 5 years ago my 3.5F not used for 4 decades, and it came back as good as new.

Dan Daniels recently CLA’d my Rolleiflex 3.5E2 and installed an Oleson screen. Excellent job, great communication, fair price. Highly recommended.
