Service for old Nikon F

Beg and plead with Sover to please do it. Say that you'll wait 2 years to see it again. He may relent. He did overhaul ALL of my F and F2 cameras just 2 years ago.

The Morton Grove, IL guys are excellent with lens service.
Different guy does the lenses vs the cameras.

Lots of folks work on old Nikon SLRs. Don't listen to the guys who are saying there is only one person with magic hands. You hear that consistently on these types of forums, no matter the camera brand, and it is generally wrong. Henry's not the only person who can do repairs on old Zeiss, other people not named Sherry work on Leicaflex and M5s (although she has a lot of spare parts), and DAG doesn't have a wand he waves over Leica rangefinders. Sover, from what I read, is good, but he's not the only person who can adequately repair an F2. Nikons are known to be easy to repair. You don't have to be a rocket scientist. Heck, some do their own repairs.
