Service/refubish my Zorki 4

In anticipation of the new FSU contest this year I thought I would get my Zorki in tip top condition.

Any recommendations on where I can send my Zorki in the UK where I can get it checked and serviced?

Somewhere close to Bristol would be great but not so important.

If you're not having two left hands, try it yourself! A Z4 is not that difficult to open up, clean it inside and put some oil on the gears. Make notes when dismantling the camera and If you have a digital camera, make photos so that you can refer to them later when putting everything back together again. If it doesn't work out well in the end, 50-100 USD will buy you a new one from Fedka.

Okay. I decided to throw caution to the soviet wind and opened up the beast to clean it. The gears and all the bits did not seem to require any oil or grease. All seemed fine however I popped open the tub of cotton buds and with some light use of WD40 cleaned all around and with a lens cloth cleaned the optical bits - the main reason for the dissasemble. Took the chance to clean the case and lens barrel at the same time. Looks like it just came off the production line at Krasnogorsk in 1964. I am impressed how beautiful it now looks - at least to me. The viewfinder is lovely and clear now and I can see focus nicely.

Anyway, one question remains and apologies for sounding a complete noob here. Rangefinder alignment. I know how to do it but what I am looking for? I set the Jupiter 8 to infinity and awkwardly holding it with a screwdriver in the appropriate hole I tuned the internal screw until the image of the car across the road came into focus. Did I do right? Is this what I am supposed to do?

Okay, will give that a go later. Just realised I am out of film on a bank holiday weekend! Doh! Perhaps the local supermarket will be open tomorrow and I'll find some Fujifilm colour. No chance finding some Kodak 400BW at this time.
 
I've read before that the moon is best, but the moon has the boring habit of not being in my bit of visible sky when I am in the mood for a touch of rangefinder tuning. Is a cumulus cloud far enough away?
 
The RF infinity adjustment really does need something quite distant. How about the tower block on the other side of the city or something like that? My local "target" is something like a mile away. A car across the road is definitely not far enough. Recheck the alignment at 1m afterwards too. If that's off then you need to turn the little pie-shaped RF sensor tip till that's right too. Lather, rinse & repeat until both ends of the scale are correct! Tedious but worthwhile.
