That's not a Spotmatic, it's an SL. I own both and prefer the SL, which leaves out the meter and comes closest to the slogan that Honeywell used in its advertising a few years later: "just pure camera".
The SV, from a few years earlier, is also quite elegant in a more old-fashioned way.

So cool. Were you working to a predesigned plan or did you have to take your own measurements from an existing camera. Also which wood did you use and what about the metal "furniture an fittings" Were these salvaged or made by you? An interesting project it seems to me especially given how nice it looks.
This reminded me that many years ago I read in a photo magazine about someone who wanted a stand camera but couldn't afford one. So he decided to make his own and as it turned out OK was offering plans to make them to anyone who asked nicely. It was a good looking camera to judge by the photo.
So, someone reading this might just have a set of plans...
