Enjoy Life.
Missed seeing you guys, sounds like it was fun. It was cooooold in the San Mateoarea soI assume it was a little breezy in PA too.
I have to check that Bay Area forum more often as well, totally missed this listing until hours before.
Kent
ps- Post some of the pics from the event, should be funny as the beer flowed throughout the night

Yay, that was fun! Nice to mesh BlowUp and RFF. I agree, Peter. It was great seeing all the Levitt books floating around--and getting a chance to see Kevin's Depardon books. I'm still a little hurt at being accused of STEALING one of them.
Better weather is nearing, so hopefully we'll get in some more of these for those who couldn't make this one.
Kent, I apologize. I should have sent you an email. Fairly short notice on this one, and it grew quickly from something much smaller.
I've set up a Flickr Group. Maybe we can use this as a way to better coordinate Beer and Gears. It's invite/request only, so please just request and I'll add you.
p.s. Thanks to the mysterious beer buyer.
p.p.s. I nominate 'Creampuff' as the name for Mike's other Leica III (non-SteamPunk).

FYI - I just uploaded a few shots from the other evening to an album in my gallery here on RFF. Here's the link to make it easier: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=7947

Great meeting you guys. Nice pics, but why do they make me look so serious?
Who bought that first round? We owe you one.
Let's not wait so long for next time.

I recommend that we stick with Flickr, so go here and join instead. There's better linkage between events and photos, more privacy and permission settings, better gallery, and the threads and photos aren't deleted on a periodic basis.

Hi Ray
Hi Ray
I'll join the flickr group.
If anyone wants even more privacy, you can request an @matsumura.com email acct. from me, and join the Matsumura Facebook Network which is the only way (currently) within FB to lock photos and group messages to a specific group.
BTW, if anyone wants to meetup this weekend let me know. I'll be in/around the Peninsula most of the week, and next week.

All,
Bingley and I would love to have any and all who can make it to meet us in Sacramento for a future Beer 'n Gear. And finding beer is easy. In fact, a Midtown/Downtown Pub Crawl is very easy. Weekends are best. There are a number of places to shoot, both nature and urban. The area gets hot by July 1 so a May or June event is best. Look at your calendars and let's make it happen.

How about April 19 in Berkeley?
How about April 19 in Berkeley?
bobkonos and I are planning on coming down from Sacto to Berkeley on Sunday, April 19, to do some photography along the 4th Street corridor, and would love to turn this into a Beer and Gear (or Bear and Gear
) meet as well.
Anyone among the SF Bay Area RFF crowd, and visiting RFF'ers, care to join?
The Pyramid Ale House on Gilman might be a logical destination spot for the beer portion of the outing, but we're open to other suggestions.

Sounds like fun to me. I have some other commitments that weekend but may be freed up on Sunday.
I'm not as familiar with the East Bay so will rely on you guys and others to suggest when and where.
So who else among our local RFF crowd is interested?

Randy --
Ray indicated over at the flickr group that he's interested. Yours is the first response since I posted, so I'm wondering whether I ought simply to start a new thread.
