Is that site strictly for domestic trading? The Babelfish translator is not good enough for anything but a word for word rendition which is interesting but not always very informative.

Hi Rob,
Yes, it is one of the most dynamic site for used cameras in China. it has many more cameras that *bay China. It is not strickly for domestic trading, but I doubt anyone has sold overseas except Taiwan or Hong Kong where people speak Chinese. It is a good place to learn about old Chinese cameras and lenses. IMHO, some Chinese TLRs are good user cameras if the price is right.

I absolutely agree about the TLR cameras--I own a Seagull 4a-107 and have been very happy with it! I book marked the site just so I could go back and look at the pictures. It's probably just as well that I can't read chinese or I would have one more place to spend my money on cameras! And I'm trying not to be a collectorzhang said:Hi Rob,

Rob, I forgot to mention that this site is not an auction site so the price is usually fixed. But people there like to haggle over the prices and ask the seller for a discount. An interesting practice that I haven't seen on other sites. I am not a collector strictly but rather an accumulator. Now I must have 20-30 Chinese TLRs of various brands and vintage + of course those Russian, German and Japanese gears. I saw some interesting Chinese stuff there, too such as 35mm movie zoom lenses and cameras,500/4.5 telephoto lens, and 500/5 mirror lens...that I have never heard of before.
Cheers
Zhang
