Ped,
I like the Guiness shot, especially after coming home from a sunny day at the race track - cheers!
Some photographers say, that a rangefinder camera is not useful for action shot. And some engineers say, a bumble is not able to fly. Sometimes it may be sensible to act like a bumble bee and just ignore...

Andreas - wonderful!!!
Love especially the last shot - what a classic!

I am enjoying shooting motorsports with RF too - keep the critics blablabla… they have no idea ;-)

I finally gave way to the new technology and got a flickr account - some first shots involve … racing of course! I shot these with an M8.2 and M7 though.
My old R-D1 is retired to be my point and shoot with a 35 Summaron LTM ;-)

Great shots Andreas, There was an oldtimer day in a neighboring town last sunday which I totally forgot about until it was too late.

Back Alley, I guess nobody takes their hats off any more when they are indoors 😉

My RD-1 has been collecting dust since my return from Ireland. Too many cameras, not enough time....

I can't tell you guys how happy I am with this camera.

This is a portrait of me taken this afternoon, with available light coming from the window (slightly overcast august day in amsterdam) using a canon 35/2.8

F4, ISO 400 and 125 - If I'm not mistaken. JPG from camera with a bit of tweaking in Lightroom 3.

I really don't understand why there's people that consider the RD1 a poor quality or think that 6MP is a handicap. Just look at the picture!

Yep, that shot really shows that the RD-1 is not out for the count.

Me and my RD-1 were in Heemskerk, just above Amsterdam this last weekend. Though I used it's low-light qualities to take pictures during a bachelor party. Most of the results would go against the forum policy if I
were to post them 😉 Though a couple might be safe enough.

Excellent pic. How did you take it, did you use a cable?

Here are a few from the last week or so, fill pics at my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chiscocks/

All taken at ISO1200 with a 28mm Ultron. I love the results this combo gives, the 'noise' at 1600 looks great and adds character especially in B+W

Cheers

Beautiful example of what the camera is capable of. That lens isn't too shabby either 🙂

Thanks - John

Com'n don't tease... 🙂 We only want to judge on the artistic merit.
