the information raw files keep are much more detailed than a jpeg, i've adjusted the white balance in most of these live concert shots, also played with exposure, recovery, back light and blacks to get as much detail as i could. the jpegs wouldn't have been as pleasing to me or have as much detail, nor show the same color tones i was seeing there in person

what's this film? Can we find it in the UK? Happy with it?

Spector is a film from the Spector Photo Group N.V., a Belgium photography company who have their HQ in Wetteren. They have several stores and outlets through-out Europe as I recall. Belgium, The Netherlands and Hungary for certain. Not certain if you can get it in the UK.
If you hand in a roll of Spector film to be developed and printed they'll give you a fresh roll for free.
It's a fine-to-medium-grain color film, reasonably close to Fuji Superia in my opinion. Quite a few lomo reviews on the web about it
Example taken with Leica IIIc & 50mm Elmar

Keep them coming Ande!
I've been tossing up whether to stick with the R-D1 or go to film and an M2...the R-D1 won out.
Here's a couple of recent ones of mine...
