You´re lucky. Having a loved one willing to pose. My better half runs the other direction the moment I start wrestling with the camera bag flap. Looks like you´re getting into the flow. Liking it?

IsorGB,

Here is one of my favourite motives: Dagmar at work in the kitchen.
First one was done with Jupiter 3, second one with Heliar 4,5/15.

not your normal R-d1 style photo but it was the only camera I had that night
CV35 2.5 at about 3 sec exposure f 8 and used a torch for a little fill (gave the orange glow to the engine) jpeg tweaked in lightroom haven't got to the raws yet

Just got the RD-1
Just got the RD-1
I just got the RD 1. The nice fellow who sold it to me had the battery charged up and it miraculously arrived the same day as my CV 35mm.
I could not be happier with this camera. It's the ONE for me! It's like my first love, first kiss, the best sunset.... You get the picture.
It sounds right, feels right, and best of all I can see very easily through the viewfinder. If it weren't pouring down rain today I could go out and shoot - but there's always tomorrow!

I was lucky enough to get hold of a host of lenses with mine. But if I has to make do with just one lens it would be the 35f1.4 nokton or the 28f1.9 ultron. Love them both.

Doug, Michael, thanks for your friendly comments - and Dagmar is a bit more encouraged to serve as my favourite model
Cheers, Andreas

Some pictures from last weekend at the General Maczek Museum in Breda. The city was liberated 65 years ago by the Polish First Armored Division and many Polish veterans came to see the museum with their families. A friend and I were asked if we would like to help to welcome them (in uniforms from the period).
None of the pictures I took were as great as some of the beauties shown here in the last couple of days, but I hope you enjoy them just the same

CV 35mm f/1.7 Ultron, at 400ISO

Andreas, you have/had this lens - Jupiter-3. Pretty good and probably cheapest fast 50mm.
