Share your Epson R-D1(s,x) photos

I try not to repost images, but this is a beautiful photograph! It knocks my socks off! I would buy a print!

Thanks :)

The Maserati Owners Club asked me about it too but I never heard back from them! You can actually buy a print as I had a gallery shop in partnership with someplace. I'll dig it out if you're interested.

Cheers

I like that maserati image as well. Its great.

I knew that I would regret selling my RD-1. Once I got it up and running it was really good. However I didn't like how it was making me shoot when I switched back to film. So much waste!

I am shooting with a borrowed RD-1 (thanks Peter :D)and am enjoying the experience so much. As much as I like my X-E1, using the rangefinder in that full-size viewfinder is such a joy. I took the RD-1 to out final cross-country meet of the season yesterday and captured some really nice candid shots. However, I did encounter one problem, I had the screen turned around and studiously avoided chimping. This meant that I didn't realise I was shooting B&W until I got home instead of colour as I'd intended :bang:. I had only saved the jpegs as I was saving disc space , next time I'll know better and save RAW as well. Here's a picture of our coach with the U16's team after they won the championship:

Hope you don't mind me putting these pics here, I put them up on a thread elsewhere but some Epson fans may not have seen them.

These are very nice, what lens was used and were the B&W in camera or PP?

Thanks Gil, it's the Nokton 35mm (f1.4). It was it's first trip out, after years with the 28mm ultron. I was really happy with it.

The PP was done in Lightroom; I have a standard B+W setting I use but I'm still working on my colour setting; it's more difficult to have a single use process for colour.
