yes, your so right. i did it like you do. Start with modern cameras but it all sucks, to much buttons and so on 🙂 Now im waiting for the 3rd R-D1 i will own, and hope to start a new life of seeing and beeing 🙂 ( if you know what i mean )
My best images are made with Epson R-D1, they are on the wall and not
in the net.
if you know the basics of photography you can get great results with the Epson because your brain is free for shape and creating images.
But never the less, i'm a guy from '71 and a grow up in analog times ;-)
