Sharing some CV 35/2.5 photos - Share your own too!

Although I have only looked at the CV 2.5 images online, it appears that when people have the contrast under control in B&W images it looks just like pre-asph cron images. I hear all these complaints about the contrast being too high for mono, but whatever happenedd to drop film speed and reduce development (easily achieved if all your lenses are of comparable contrast)?

I have ordered the pancake version to replace my Biogon F2 when I want something tiny. My biogon performs incredibly well and I will report back on the real world differences. I am hoping the pancake will perform juyst fine without a hood most of the time allowing the camera to slip under an open jacket.
 
...a then there are those that laim (on Leica forum) that the bokeh is horrid. No evidence of any problems in the images posted. Quite the opposite in fact, which correlates with Sean Reid's opinion - one with substance to it!

I certainly dont think that contrast is a problem. It can be controlled both in development and in post-processing. I've certainly never had a problem with it. In fact, I have increased the contrast (via tone curve adjustments, not direct contrast adjustments) in someof my photos. That may have something to do with my choice of developer though - supposedly diafine leads to flat negs. At any rate, I have never had to decrease contrast. 🙂

I got the lens a few days ago (pancake 2) and posted some thoughts on its performance in the Voightlander/Bessa forum. I am very impressed overall.
