Very bad lens! I had problems with two of them (bad fabrics), poor resistance to flare, ugly bokeh.

Already very fond of this little lens. Took my first film with it on the train to Italy last month and liked its sharpness and bokeh, as well as how it captured colours

Chris,
What a fantastic photograph!
What a moment! It's a miracle... Even the light is mysterious...
Their hands wanting to meet... Both ages and attitudes in a man's life...
Oh! This one deserves a big big size, on real silver...
Adorable! More focus wouldn't add a thing!
Congratulations!!!

My CV 35/2.5 PII is the only lens I have for my M2--I'm digging it so far. Would love it if it was a 1.4, but the size and price are hard to beat. Bokeh is better than I expected when it does show up (wish I could get shallower DOF at 2.5, but alas hard to do).
Here's a recent one on Tri-x in HC110b:
And another, cheap color film and lab scan, the first roll ever through my M2 and 35 PII combo:

Great photos!
I have a 35 Pancake for 2 years now. made a test with an summicron 35 1.4 asp.. at the same apertures. from 2.5 on. amazing: details came out nearly the same: fortunately i had written down the frame numbers, it was to nearly mix up the lenses. BUT; vignetting was very heavy for the panc. and not centered also. so I think i got only what i paid for. a good lens but a leica is more expensive but better all opened.
I made a trip to NY and wanted a to have a small camera wuith me, so i took the Bessa R2 and the 35 an the 50 from voigtlaender to shoot Astia , Provia an some sensia 100. it takes 10 days to be developped. still some days to wait to see what i produced.

This is probably one of my favorite lens as well and i happen to light the slight vignetting wide open.
RobinsonP: Great Portrait!!!!
Monkeypainter: can you share details of aperture and film/digital iso? looks a bit 'late' for a f2.5 w/out high isi

Got this lense a couple of weeks ago. Have developed two rolls and so far it has lived up to my high expectations. Maby a bit too contrasty in bright sunshine for b/w, but very sharp as far as I am able to tell. Here are two shots. Both Tmax 2 developed in x-tol:
