Any ideas for a meter that won’t block the shutter speed selector or so mother accessory that would shift it out of the way. I’m using the voigtlander meter and I like it fine but it’s sure in the way.
 
I'd forgotten about them, been a very long time since I sold the one I had. I far prefer a hand held meter. Glad it works for you :)
 
Get an MR-4 meter, far superior. I have both and only use the VC meter on my LTM cameras (it I use it all). One issue I have with the VC meter is that the ISO setting spins so easily the setting is always wrong. Anyone know of a fix?
 
There is also the KEKS KM-02, which is smaller than the VC meter, USB rechargeable, and has a digital readout. I would caution that mine has been somewhat unreliable and the manufacturer as far as I can tell does not have any customer support. Accuracy seems decent compared to "real" (i.e. Sekonic handheld) meters, and it seems to have a slightly wider field of view than the VC meter.

Personally I prefer to carry a L-308 in my pocket, but it's nice to have the option of an on-camera meter too.

Unscrew the cover over the ISO setting. Put a small piece of masking tape on the exposed metal (below the cover you removed) and put the cover back on. Adds some friction to make that cover harder to move.

Yes, easy fix. Go to the drug store and get a pair of needle point tweezers, not the flat blade type. Put a piece of transparent tape over the dials to prevent a chance of scratching. Use the needle point tweezers as a mini-spanner, they will fit right into the tiny holes on the screws holding down the dials. Tighten carefully.
 
I have both the MR-4 and the VC meter. My iso dial doesn't spin on the VC, so that just needs some adjustment on yours. I like the fact that the MR-4 is shutter-coupled, but it's a bit harder to access the shutter speed selection with it in place. (I also need to adjust its coupling pin... it tends to not be securely locked into the shutter knob of my M4-2.)

Both work well, but I tend to carry an incident reading meter anyway. ;)

My KM02 arrived today. Very user friendly and fits nicely on my RZ67, but you need to unlock the bellows first before putting the meter on the shoe, otherwise the locking lever won’t clear past the meter and you won’t be able to focus closer than infinity.

I also have both and also prefer the MR-4 for the shutter coupling on my M4; it’s a nice touch. However, I have a very first-world problem in that my Chrome M4 has just come back from Cameraworks UK with a lovely black paintjob, so my chrome MR-4 looks a bit out of place. I like the VC but agree that that iso dial can be a bit loose so I will try the tape job I think.

P.s. dead black MR-4 winging it’s way to me now for a transplant.
