Short tele better for landscapes ?

Great shots as always Peter M. I like the challenge of what to do with the foreground. I liked Stuart Richardson's number 2 on p1 of this thread, the B&W 35mm shot. It has a rhythm and drama which is more interesting than the longer shot. I haven't taken a good wide landscape yet.
