shot at wrong iso ... now what??

Dear all;

I shot a roll of 200 ISO ultra.edu at 400. Just not paying attention! Followed the meter on the M6, but did not move the wheel on the back!

I usually use D76, and follow the times on the sheet.

How should I adjust the development time?

I want to say double the time in the developer is what I used to do with Tri-X but I'm not sure about ultra.edu. I would drop the mgr a note or call and ask. I have zer0 experience with that film.

Watch your temp as you extend the developing time. Some times chemicals will adjust to the air temp if it gets too long.

Dear Dave,

As a good general rule, 50-100% more dev time -- a choice of (a) a bit thin or (b) contrastier than you may like.

According to the Massive Development Chart app on my iphone, the time in D76 is 18 min @ 20c with a dilution ratio of 1:3. (It is a cool app by the way.)

here's what I did, I devleoped a roll of ISO400 exposed correctly, and the roll of 200 shot at 400 in a B dolution HC110 for about 30 seconds longer than the ISO 400 time. It came out OK, I just got them scanned last night, links to follow .....

I used the ISO 400 development time of 5 min from the sheet, the 200 development time is 3.5 min, so I went over for the 400, and a bit under the recomendation of twice the time for the 200. By using the B dilution, I came up with times that I was willing to wait.

Last night was cub scouts, just no time to work on photos.
