We don't know what will become of Kodak so maybe we should stoke some enthusiasm for Ilford who I'm sure are in it for the long-haul. This is FP4. Something I've never been very enthusiast about but I really like it in D76 1+1.

That is cool.

Recently I asked for advice on either using stand development on Ilford 100ASA film, or on pushing Ilford 400ASA film to 800 or more.

I'm hoping to see some shots from Ilford film from stand-dev or 800ASA:angel::angel: It might just convince me to come to the bright side:D

Delta 400 @ Ei 200 shot in a Leica M6 with 28mm Elmarit. Developed in HC-110 H with minimal agitation for 12 mins @ 20c

Yes it would be useful if EI, Chemicals and temp/time are listed.
For my FP4+ shots I put it through at EI125 sunny 16 with a yellow filter and used D76 1+1 at 20C for 10.5 mins.

Duely noted and I have edited my post accordingly.

My HP5 shot was developed in Rodinal 1:25 using normal agitation (something like 2-3 inversions every 30 seconds). I couldn't tell you what the temp was since it was over a year ago but the lab I was in usually is around 72.

Oh, and my fp4 shot was using Sprint developer with the same development process and was shot at box speed.

Last of the FP4+ for now. Got to do more scanning. I used to have a V3 50mm Summicron lens from the 70's that absolutely loved this film (or did the film love the lens?) the contrasty nature of the lens and the low contrast nature of FP4 combined to simply work wonders. I hate to be using lousy flatbed scans because it doesn't do that combo justice.

Running through my scanning backlog today and uploading.
HP5+@ISO200 in Rodinal 1:50 68F 2-3 inversions every 30 seconds and grainy as heck. I still like it though.

I actually messed up scanning these by forgetting to lock them down in the holder on my V600 which explains their slightly warped nature. Thought I'd post anyway as a warning to others.

Ilford is hard to find around here & when priced against Arista film, I tend to buy the Arista brand. I do have a couple rolls of Pan F. These photo's have stirred an interest to grab some next time I get to my supplier over in Raleigh.
