Hi all,
Just came across a CL today for $250. It looks pretty good but the only problem is that there is a dent on the top plate almost right above the viewfinder. In your experience is such a dent detrimental to the alignment? And would there be a reliable way to test it short of running a roll of film through it? Thank you for your advice!

Just put a lens on & focus it. If it lines up ok it should be fine.
Mine has a dent in it too that worried me but everything was fine. I would try what kknox said and use a measuring tape to check if its accurate and aligned.
