Opel was the most modern German automotive manufacturer in the pre-war era. How they understand art-deco/steamline style: 1937 Admiral 4-door cabriolet (as seen in Bad Bentheim). A car that really challanged Mercedes.
'58 Edsel fins? Sure they're not from a '59 Cadillac?
WOW, my mom as a teenager had a car like that. I think it was called a Hulk Stud by Becker Motors, or something like that. There is a picture of her in it in an old family photo album when she lived in Alaska. I remember she said "it had a bad battery".
I'm not sure how nice it is, but I just remembered I had this photo.
Kids today don't know what a compact car really is. 😀
They didn't sell the 360 series to Europe. I think Subaru started with the small car Justy here, around 1980. Subaru's sold here were all 4x4. The coolest one ever was sold in the US too, the Leone (GL/DL1600), seen it first in the movie "Bonny and Clyde". By far the coolest Japanese compact car.
First Subaru to make it to the shores of the US across the Ocean from Japan.
