not so nice?
not so nice?
The title of the thread is "nice old car"
Seems to me that the majority are not nice at all! For instance, so far on this page only 3 1/2 out of 10 could possibly be construed as nice.....

That's a definite "maybe not" , but it is OLD. Peter

Once you take a fancy to cars designed by Paul Bracq, you pay attention to them whenever you see one.
Here's a 1969 Mercedes 280C, seen in Greenwich Village, NYC.
And this is a late 1960's Mercedes SL seen in northern New Jersey.
It's pure coincidence that they are both the same color and even more unlikely that both of my Mercedes are extraordinarily similar colors. (my 1972 220D is the same color as these cars pictured and my 1978 300D is just barely noticeably lighter.)

Sorry, no, it's another of those cars that wasn't nice even when new!
Here's one that seemed nice when new but didn't keep its popularity like the VW alternative.

I believe that this qualifies as both nice, and old. what a way to go, take your last ride in style in a Chrysler.

Careful! You might inspire someone to start a thread full of hearses
Please disregard the bias of my European eyes but was there ever such a thing as a nice Chrysler?

I'd take a '48 Chrysler Town & Country any day.

Sure, take a look at some of the mid-50's Virgil Exner-designed Chryslers.

That Corona Mark II is gorgeous! I love 60's and 70's Japanese cars.
