Show me a nice old car

Spotted this early model Escort not so far from home. Its owner informed me that when he was rallying it back in the day, he'd had sponsorship from Ilford Photo. I had a camera I was running a test film through on me (a Leica IIIg). Loaded with Ilford FP4 Plus. So getting a couple of shots of it on Ilford film seemed like the thing to do. Lens was a collapsible 50mm Elmar f/2.8, and the FP4 Plus was processed in ID-11 1 + 3.

No, it's an Escort, Murray. A lot were built in Australia, too, although, being more of a Holden aficionado than a Ford devotee, I couldn't tell you offhand if this RS1600 is a UK-built or an Australian made example.

Pink has suddenly become the popular color for those convertibles who take tourists on those expensive rides around Havana. There were no pink convertibles some 5-6 years ago just as there were no pink ones back when they were new. But trends quickly come and go in Cuba.

The number of convertibles continues to increase in Havana due to a supply of old hardtop sedans, acetylene torches, and Cuban engineering.

1955/56 Chevrolet, customized. For one difficult example, the top has been "chopped", i.e. it was cut off and lowered a couple of inches.
