Show me a nice old car

I think Ford called that series by the name "Econoline". So this would be an Econoline pickup to compete with the Chevrolet (Corvair) Greenbrier which had a pickup version too. And VW van of course....

1930's Dodge - See the ram? :) Those front turn signals look suspiciously like those on 1970's Honda motorcycles...

Trust a Swede to make this humorous play on the prancing horse logo common on Italian Ferarris. This is a Swedish Volvo P1800 sports coupe of the 1960s. An 1800cc 118hp OHV four with twin SU carbs.

People take classic cars too seriously, this I enjoy. The P1800 is stylish and fun, doesn't spend too much time trying to be a great performer!

Yes, a classy car though not too serious. Roger Moore had a white one in the TV series "The Saint". I like these older Volvos, having had a '62 PV544 for about 10 years and was active in the Seattle Volvo Car Club, the area's oldest marque club. When the 144/142/145 came along in '68 I was not so fond of the boxy styling. Curious that Volvo did not followup with a later version of the P1800... though it was later transmogrified into a shooting brake style!

The red tricycle vehicle is called a 'Reliant'. It was a light van that had a carrying capacity of seven hundredweight (about 356kg or 784 pounds). It was made in December 1940 and it has a 700cc petrol engine. It was made in Britain.

When I was going through submarine sonar school in Key West, FL, I saw a Coast Guard sailor come riding into the school one weekend. He was driving a P1800 towing a racing P1800 on a trailer. Unbelievable!

The early Volvo P1800 cars were made in the UK. Pressed Steel Fisher made the bodies in Scotland for Jensen Motors in England who assembled them for Volvo. The bodywork design was Italian.

Spot on. I met her today on the Barbican at Plymouth, where the bikers have returned to their old haunt on the quay.

I can`t claim that this is my shot. I inherited a bunch of medium format negs from ,I`m guessing , the `40`s .
Just wondering if somebody could identify the car .

Given the very plain door and bonnet sides etc. plus the lack of (a) the usual louvres in the bonnet side panels and (b) any panel between the windscreen bulkhead and the bonnet side panels I wonder if this was a locally built body on an existing chassis? I can't find any photographs or drawings of anything else quite like this.
