The time I am talking about would be the mid-50's. Greenwich was a very different town then. And you could get a really good eggplant parmigiana grinder on Fridays.
I caught the farthest end of that era ... I was 10 in 1964. I recall bits and pieces from traveling around the area with my father in earlier years. Greenwich was so close to home, we'd go there now and then "to see the sights" as my father would say. 🙂

Hi Mike,
it seems to me this is the Aston Martin model featured in the persuaders, starring Tony Curtis and Roger Moore. The DBSV8. The Aston Martin was driven by Roger Moore and was yellow.
The car fetched about 900.000$ at a Bonhams Auction. I should say that in your photo it looks better than in the movie (yellow like a cab uhm)
I stopped by the shop doing my Lancia Fulvia Coupe interior restoration today. Not much new to report on the Fulvia, it's all coming along apace, but they had this lovely little machine from 1954 to do a little freshening up out on the floor today...

Such a beautiful little car, with a very pretty FIAT-sourced 2L V8! A rarity ... They made 9 cars in this particular coupé series.
enjoy!
