Show me your current ride

"While you are at it look for a dark gray Toyota Corolla 4 door. That looks just like mine except mine has a trailer hitch."---besk

And there'll probably be a tan Toyota Highlander along soon thereafter. That's mine.

I reckon we have similar tastes. We got our first Highlander in 2004. What a great vehicle, not only looks, but layout and ride. About a year and a half ago the wife wanted a new one, but we had to settle for a 2016 model instead of the 2017 since the 2017 models didn't have a full bench seat in the second row. Deal breaker for her. But it is nice too. I just don't think she will ever find one that tickles her fancy like the 2004 did. I admit, I liked it a lot too. So I'll be looking for yours.

I knew I had to come to Australia some day ! But my wife Simo after she saw the picture already said that snakes, very poisonous spiders, dangerous mosquitos, maybe even small crocodiles :D could climb up and kill us during the night!

Tell her not to worry. I looked up some information on those tents, and it seems the ladders can be stored inside and the tents zipped up well.

But thinking about it, I'm not so sure I would want to go either. I don't know which I hate more, spiders or snakes. :p

Dahon Mu SP9 - soon to be converted to 10-speed. Got all the parts waiting, just need to find the time now.

Eh, gears are for the weak and the indecisive.

There is always one in every crowd

Next I buy a Fedora and cultivate my handlebar moustache.

Upgrade to 10-speed completed and gear inch range expanded to 30 - 100.

I may downsize the front chain ring for a lower overall gear inch range for a ride across Shikoku Island that I'm contemplating in the near future, but for now this works great.

ruby.monkey wanna join me on the Shikoku ride with your fixie (and Fedora and handlebar moustache)? It'll be fun counting all the hills/mountains you end up having to walk your bike up :D:cool::p

One of the last of it kind - Suzuki Jimny : production ended after 18 years in April this year.

My current motorcycle: Moto Guzzi V7III Racer

iPhone 8 Plus, panorama mode

Just arrived back from having the suspension, wheels, and tires upgraded; a 900 mile round-trip weekend run to Los Angeles and back. It's really REALLY sweet now. :D

Sure, no worries. Just... give me a moment to find my old Cytronex conversion kit. ;)

Not a fixie, though - singlespeed only. It's going to be a while before I can manage a tall enough gearing that'll let me keep up with a 40mph descent on the morning commute, while pedalling back up it at the end of the return journey.

A dry February day a couple years ago:

Is that a Fiero? My best mate was nuts about those cars. He must have owned half a dozen of them over the years. His were always in need of repair. Yours looks to be in really nice shape.

Best,
-Tim

Lots of 2 wheelers here. Cool!

This is a low end $600 Ancheer electric bike that I added some stuff to. It has an ultra quiet hub motor, 20+ mile range, and low weight. I was trouble shooting an electrical issue in this pic, which was just a bad connection.
