Show me your photos with 35/2.5 Color Skopar

Back from Borneo

Back from Borneo

I bought a Bessa R on EBay a couple of weeks ago just before going off on a trip to Kalimantan. These are from the 35/2.5 which I bought with the camera. It looks to be a great lens.

Charlie Laughing

Charlie Laughing

Here is another example of a very sharp lens. You can see the grain in the lumber. Charlie is an employee of our company. We can laugh about the smallest things. He is a great person and I look foreward to seeing him each day. 35mm-2.5 Voigtlander

One of my favorite lenses. So tiny, so good. Just a few pictures (see my RFF gallery or my Flickr):

Skopar II

Skopar II

Tri-x in Rodinal about 1/8s f/2.5 handheld.

I really like this unassuming lens. I sold my Leica 50 collapsible, as the little Voigtlander is a much better handling street lens and does not flare shooting into the sun.

Wow! what a great photo of Charlie. I already like the guy and I've never met him.

Here's my little contribution. in a completely different, more melancholic vein. This was taken using Era 100 which I think most people would agree is a soft low contrast film, so very different to a lot of modern emulsions. I sepia tinted it, and the result is very much in the style of F.M Sutcliffe. Oh, and the camera was a Leica III with a 35mm f2.5 Color Skopar

I'm quite pleased with this shot, and this group of shots as a whole which can be seen at: http://homepage.mac.com/sfb_dot_com/Kernow/page12/page4/page8/page8.html

Cheers

Andy
