I've tried using a friend's iiif and hated every second of it, and I find the M Leica's so much more appealing to look at, let alone use. However, this is absolutely stunning, one of the nicest cameras I've ever seen.

Sure you may ask. Was painted by a German firm, named E. Leitz.

I could buy the painted parts from someone who got into the possession of the inventory of the repair department of Leitz Canada after it's demolition.

It was easy to adorn an ordinary IIIc with them, with the help of Mr. Scherpenborg from Nijmegen.

Unfortunately I could not get the proper strap lugs in black, so these are still chrome.
