Great, Bayernfarm, don't forget to put the lenscap on instantly after you took the picture.
Beautiful camera.

Erik, I only replace the cap if I need to change the shutter speed. Otherwise, I hold the lens up against my body (shielding it from light) when I advance. It's quirky and I like it!

Just acquired a Leica Model D with original leather cover. Is there any tips to maintain the leather cover? it feels dry with minor discoloring. Thanks.

Helen,
You can’t go wrong with any of the leathers or synthetics HugoStudio has to offer!
I really like the Moroccan texture and it works for a lot of cameras.
My favorite skin from them is a custom skin cooked up for my orange IIc. It’s a genuine leather with moroccan texture and was hand dyed orange in their shop just for me.
So if you see a color/texture you like but do not see your camera in the pull down bar just shoot them a message. I couldn’t find a orange leather anywhere and a quick email and a few weeks work we had a really slick product.

Picked up this IIIf from a lady whose husband passed away. It's in fantastic shape, I've shot about a roll and half with it already and love it.

heh, i do like it, but there are many better looking setups in this thread!
keep your eye out for a series-0, they can be had for reasonable money and they are super fun to shoot!

Leica ii with Elmar KUP7 scratches and slight haze, but the performances still great..
Just arrived
Leica I model C std.
The lens is Elmar KUP 11, without serial number. Very clean optics, I love it.
