Someone took "Show Off" quite literally!
Nice collection- especially the Rolliflex shelf.
Thanks! This is what happens when you buy cameras to flip on eBay and then talk yourself into why you should keep them instead. I normally keep them all put away in bags as I try to justify keeping them all for my "photography."

Here's one of the simpler ones from the 1930's:-

Not as expensive but it was one of the best sellers in its post-war version.

1956 Rolleiflex 2.8D (mentioned here)
This is a single owner 2.8D Planar that I recently purchased from a local gent selling on behalf of his recently passed Godfather. One of those rare positive experiences with local classifieds. Spent half an hour chatting to the seller about Frank Hurley's visits to Antarctica and PNG, and the general fantasticness of screwmount Pentax's, before settling on a price that left everyone happy.
The camera had obviously been well used and well cared for, but likely sitting in a cupboard for the last 20 years. I ran a test roll through to make sure everything was working (surprisingly it was) and then sent it away to Mr Vic Plant (recommended here) for a thorough clean and service. It's once again working like a finely tuned German TLR

I am finally scanning some old B&W 6x6. I came across this TLR self-potrait form the 1980s (camera shown, Tri-X):

It has been on this shelf for two years now... this thread made me want to take it for a photo stroll, it has been too long.

This handsome beast arrived yesterday. It looks good but has issues. Something to do with film transport, I loaded it up and found that somewhere mid roll it wasn't winding on/actuating the shutter. No doubt in need of a CLA. Snag is, I just hope my favourite camera repair shop hasn't gone out of business with the pandemic.
