It occurs to me whenever I browse the Gallery Picks thread that there are so many great images each week that I am missing. I put this down to the large number of very talented photographers here at RFF who are contributing to the gallery all the time.
Most people tend to paste their chosen Pick in the reply, which is convenient, but doesn't link back to that photographer's gallery. I think that even more fantastic images are slipping through the cracks due to the sheer number of photos posted.
So with this thread I propose that each participant select one or two photographer's galleries that deserve a more thorough perusal, with an explanation why you chose them.

I'll start! I'm going to begin with Martini. I usually don't go for landscapes in a big way, but his work absolutely floors me. Each image seems to create a surreal version of fairly normal scenes. He has developed a very unique style which is immediately identifiable as a "Martini".
His work has seriously changes the way I view landscapes. Here's some work from his gallery:
